The Mother of Sorrows Community Food Pantry

A regularly-operated food pantry, the Mother of Sorrows community food pantry provides supplemental food to those in need in the Murrysville, Export, Delmont, Slickville, and New Alexandria area. We are a member Food Pantry of the Westmoreland County Food Bank (WCFB). As such, we receive food items from them and redistribute them to those in need.

That distribution takes place on the first Tuesday of each month in the Mother of Sorrows church hall from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Through donations to Mother Teresa Outreach, we are able to purchase additional items to supplement what is provided by the WCFB. A community of churches in the Murrysville, Export and Delmont area also provide items donated from their congregations to supplement that which was received.
